Office

Office Features

Dr. Rauh constructed his office to help patients relax and feel so comfortable that they can more easily explore their thoughts and feelings. Knowing that no one other than the trusted professional can hear what the patient says makes communicating private feelings and thoughts much easier. Multiple aspects of the office construction ensure this privacy. For example:

  • Two doors separate the meeting room from the rest of the office and each completely seals.
  • Two overlapping sets of drywall ensure that sound does not leak through the seam between two pieces of conventional dry wall.
  • A functional spring suspends the drywall from the supporting 2×6’s thus attenuating any sound transmission.
  • Insulation in the interior walls further limits sound transmission.
  • Sound absorbing material and baffles line the ventilation ducts.
